MEDWORLD Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 November 2026
1. About MEDWORLD
MEDWORLD is an academic learning and examination-preparation platform for university medical students aged 18 and above. These terms apply to the current MEDWORLD app. MEDWORLD is operated by Jolaoso Emmanuel Toluwanimi, based in Nigeria. Contact: medworld.tutorial@gmail.com.
Making Medical School More Structured, Less Overwhelming, and More Enjoyable.
MEDWORLD offers subject-based MCQ and theory practice, timed study sessions, flashcards, a curated Library, bookmarks, academic performance analysis and structured tutorials where published and accessible to your account. It does not provide healthcare services. Read the Educational disclaimer and Privacy policy, available in Settings and from the sign-in screen.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Use MEDWORLD only if you are at least 18. Provide accurate registration information, use an email address you control and protect your password. Do not share accounts or access another person's account. Contact support if you suspect unauthorised access. No age-verification claim is made: this build does not verify identity documents or dates of birth.
3. Academic use and responsibility
Questions, model answers and fictional clinical scenarios support academic revision. They do not diagnose, treat or guide the care of real patients. Practice scores and automated rubric marking are study aids, not official examination results or certification of clinical competence. Check your official syllabus and teaching; report suspected content errors. No grade, academic outcome or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed.
Do not submit real patient information in answers, uploaded teaching files, descriptions or support messages. Use fictional or appropriately anonymised educational examples. Do not use MEDWORLD to cheat in an examination, share protected examination papers without permission or misrepresent practice scores as official qualifications.
4. Materials and intellectual property
MEDWORLD and applicable rights holders retain ownership of protected content, software and branding. Access grants a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use available materials for your own education within the app, subject to applicable law and your access entitlement. It does not transfer ownership.
Do not reproduce, redistribute, resell, scrape, publicly share or commercially exploit protected materials without permission, except where applicable law permits. Do not bypass access controls or file protections. Students cannot upload personal notes or documents to the Library. Only authorised content personnel may upload or publish organisational teaching content under their granted permissions and approval rules. Uploaders must have the rights needed to provide their content and must not include unlawful or confidential material. Report copyright concerns with enough detail to identify the material and your claim to support.
5. Fair use
Do not manipulate scores, automate abusive requests, interfere with another user's study, exploit security weaknesses or upload malicious files. Report vulnerabilities privately to support.
MedClash and MedGames currently display Coming soon. There is no active competitive ranking service, competition entry, prize scheme or public leaderboard in this release.
6. Tutorials and subscriptions
Tutorial access requires a current MEDWORLD Premium entitlement. Classes use published schedules and external Google Meet or Classroom links where provided. Availability depends on the published class and tutor; schedules may change. A schedule-based LIVE label is not a guarantee that the tutor has started the external meeting. Local reminders depend on your device permissions, clock and notification settings.
Purchases are not currently available in MEDWORLD. This version does not initiate charges or automatic renewals. Read Subscription information for current access rules. Any mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. Availability, account restrictions and deletion
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, network failures, security incidents or other operational reasons. Published content and available features can change. Coming soon features are not available services or paid benefits.
MEDWORLD may investigate suspected misuse and restrict access or suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these terms or comply with law. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact support to contest a decision.
You can request account deletion through Settings. Read the Privacy policy for deletion scope and limitations. Deletion is permanent; password recovery does not restore a deleted account. Account deletion must not be assumed to cancel any independently managed store subscription once billing is introduced.
8. Liability and changes
MEDWORLD takes reasonable care in operating the service but cannot guarantee that all educational content is error-free, current or complete. To the extent permitted by applicable law, MEDWORLD is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on practice content as real-patient advice, misuse of the app, or events outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer and data protection rights.
Material changes to these terms will be identified with an updated date and communicated appropriately. Where applicable law requires your agreement or consent, we will request it separately. Contact medworld.tutorial@gmail.com with questions or complaints.
